Paul Briol (1889-1969) was a photographer from Ohio.
Paul Briol was born in Massachusetts in 1889. He moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, from New Orleans in 1909 to be a photographer for the Cincinnati Commercial Tribune. During the Great Depression, Briol set up his own photography studio. He is known for his photography of the city of Cincinnati in the 1920s through the 1950s. Briol died August 3, 1969, in Katonah, New York.

Two original gelatin silver photographs by Paul Briol. One is labeled "Half Dome," dated approximately 1950s and is a vintage brown-tone print that is possibly toned in sulfur. The other is "Gateway to the Garden of the Gods," dated approximately 1940s and possibly toned in selenium.
