Cyril O. Burt (1923-2013) served in the US Army during World War II.

Cyril O. Burt was born February 18, 1923, in St. Anthony, Idaho. After high school, he served in the US Army for three years during World War II, spending time in Africa and Italy. He returned in 1946 and married Maxine Hobbs, who he had met in St. Anthony, Idaho prior to his service in the army. They had seven children. He spent his life in different capacities of service, including serving a couples mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and spending time on the Fremont County School Board and in the Idaho State Legislature. He passed away on May 8, 2013.
