Biographical History
Rodney Turner (1922-2014) served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Rodney Turner was born in Norfolk, Virginia. His family moved to New York City during the Great Depression, where he graduated high school. They found the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and joined. He was drafted into World War II after the attack on Pearl Harbor. He was assigned to be a ball turret gunner on a B-24. When he returned from the war, he got married to Bonnie Lou Dalley. He studied at Brigham Young University and the University of Southern California. He was principal of a seminary in Arizona.
