Biographical History

Ronald Harlan Beach (1945-) served as a US Army Chaplain during the Vietnam War.

Ronald Harlan Beach was born in California in 1945. He attended school in Glendale, California, and then went to Brigham Young University and UCLA, studying elementary education and history. He joined the church in 1966. He became a teacher until he was drafted into the Vietnam War in 1968. He was trained as a chaplain assistant and sent to El Paso, Texas. After his service, he was placed on active reserve. He returned to BYU, used the GI Bill to get a master's degree in Educational Administration, and continued to work as a teacher before becoming vice president of international sales for the Osmond Entertainment Group. He continued to work in business until retirement.
