Biography
Dale C. Andrus (1930-) served in the US Marine Corps and was involved in Korean police action.
Dale C. Andrus was born in California and raised in California and Utah. He dropped out of high school for a time to work with his dad as a mechanic, but ended up going back to school and graduating in 1948. He then joined the Marine Corps Reserves and was relegated to play in the band. At the outbreak of the Korean War in 1950, he was called into active duty and sent to Korea. After the war, he got married, raised a family, and became a fireman.
