Scope and Contents
Handwritten, two-page letter dated July 11, 1886 and signed with "Josie." The item was addressed to Mrs. C. Steele of Toquerville, Utah. The salutation of the letter states, "My Dear Grandma." Josie states she will not be able to come "to the Temple to be adopted" this year. She and her husband are headed "to the City, for it will not be long until it comes Court time again." She also mentions oppressive weather, participating in mountain outings, and domestic activities.
