Raymond Paul Hartung (1925-) served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Raymond Paul Hartung was born on May 23, 1925, in Mauston, Wisconsin. He was raised in a small dairy farming community. He was drafted into the U.S. Navy in 1943, where he repaired ships that had been damaged overseas. He also spent time in Panama and the Marshall Islands. After returning from the war, he worked in construction and logging. He married, divorced, and then remarried. His second wife had five kids and they had another daughter together.
