Boris Karloff (1887-1969) was a Canadian actor, of English origins.

Boris Karloff was born William Henry Pratt on November 23, 1887 in Camberwell, London, England. He moved to Canada in 1909, and became an actor. He was known mainly for his role in the 1930s Frankenstein films. He died February 2, 1969, in England.
