Ethel Lucile Dimond Smith (1897-1986) was a former "Utah Mother of the Year" and wife to Calvin Schwartz Smith.

Ethel Lucile Dimond was born July 31, 1897, to Thomas Walter Dimond and Nora Bennion. She married Calvin Schwartz Smith on September 28, 1917. Smith was the son of Joseph F. Smith, president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Together they had thirteen children.

Lucile was awarded the "Utah Mother of the Year" award in 1962.

Ethel Lucile Dimond Smith died on August 15, 1986, in Torrance, California.

Includes awards and certificates for Calvin, and documents related to Lucile receiving the Utah Mother of the Year Award. Also includes letters from Philo T. Farnsworth and Victor L. Brown, and the missionary diary of Calvin. Dated 1906-1976.
