Biography

James H. Anderson (1891-1969) was a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

James H. Andersen was born November 7, 1891 in Benjamin, Utah, to James Andersen and Nora Cutler. At the age of 27 he was called to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Northern states. James served for 2 years, primarily in Iowa, from 1919 to 1921. He married Ellie Ormond on June 7, 1916, in Salt Lake City, Utah. They had six children. James died September 30, 1969.

CD-R containing JPG photographs of pages from the missionary journal of James H. Anderson documenting his mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the northern states, primarily Iowa. The disc also contains a word document of the transcription of the journal, which includes a photograph from James' mission. Dated 1919 to 1921.
