Amasa Jay Redd (1895-1984) was a friend of Mary Elizabeth "Mamie" Smith.
Amasa Jay Redd was born in Utah in 1895. He served a Latter-day Saint mission in California where he became aquainted with Mary Elizabeth Smith, the sister of Nora Ellen Crockett. He died in Utah in 1984.
