Biographical History

Melvin J. Marion (born 1937) was a business man and entertainment executive. Melvin Jones Marion was born in Mount Airy, North Carolina. He graduated from BYU in 1963 with a degree in sociology and business management. He taught school, ran dude ranches, rented horses for film and television work, and sold real estate and western wear through out the western United States. In 1985, he, along with others, started a television station in Southern California and ran his own T.V. show. Additionally, he served as representative for Stetson Hats.

Contains three DVDs made from an original VHS videocassette. The recording contains an interview with Roy Rogers, conducted by Melvin J. Marion, on October 1st, 1988, at the Roy Rogers Museum in Victorville, California. Also included are introductions to the "Roy Rogers Theater" television program aired on KVVT. These segments were conducted for use between commercial breaks and film programming on the KVVT television station. Dated 1988.
