Biography
Roy Rogers was an American singer and actor.
Born Leonard Franklin Slye on November 5, 1911 in Cincinnati, Ohio, he began his career in music playing guitar, singing, and yodeling. This soon led to a career in motion pictures with Republic pictures. He was one of the most popular Western stars of his era. Known as the "King of the Cowboys", he appeared in over 100 films and numerous radio and television episodes of "The Roy Rogers Show". In many of his films and television episodes, he appeared with his wife, Dale Evans.

Melvin J. Marion interview with Roy Rogers
Contains three DVDs made from an original VHS videocassette. The recording contains an interview with Roy Rogers, conducted by Melvin J. Marion, on October 1st, 1988, at the Roy Rogers Museum in Victorville, California. Also included are introductions to the "Roy Rogers Theater" television program aired on KVVT. These segments were conducted for use between commercial breaks and film programming on the KVVT television station. Dated 1988.
