Robert Gene McDuffie (1922-2004) was a veteran, journalist, writer, photographer, and biographical author of "Zane Grey: the Man and the Legend".
Robert Gene McDuffie was born on September 14, 1922 in Los Angeles, California, to parents Van Buren McDuffie and Carrie Belle Stone. McDuffie went on to work as a postal clerk before enlisting in the United States Army in 1942, where he served in World War II. He then went on to work as a secretary and ghost writer for Warner Bros. He is the author of a biography of Zane Grey titled "Zane Grey: the Man and the Legend". He passed away on September 20, 2004 in California.
