Biography
Laura Wells Stewart was the last known person who lived in the now ghost town of Victor, Emery County, Utah.
Laura Wells Stewart was born on December 8, 1917 in her house in Victor, Emery County, Utah to Ella May Waterman and William Henry Wells. Her family lived in the now ghost town of Victor until she was 17, when they moved to Price. She married Homer T. Stewart on December 8, 1938 in Price, Utah. They had three daughters: Kay, Laura, and Sue; and were married 66 years before Homer's death in 2005. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She passed away March 3, 2013 at age 95 in Bountiful, Utah.
