Biographical history
Ebenezer Reed (1760-1845) was a Revolutionary war veteran.
Ebenezer Reed was born October 2, 1760 in Norwalk, Connecticut. He served as a private in the Revolutionary War. He married twice, first to Hannah Jones, and later to Polly Dickinson. He and his family came to Olean, New York around 1811, where he built a tavern and a boathouse. Ebenezer Reed died in January of 1845 in Olean, New York.
