Biographical History

Fred Waller (1886-1954) was a producer and inventor of Cinerama.

Fred Waller was the first to invent a type of Cinerama. His Vitarama was 11 projectors was later shortened to the now traditional 3 projectors and called Cinerama. Waller’s invention was first shown at the 1939 World’s Fair New York.
