Biographical History

David L. Hardy (1947- ) is a Brigham Young University alumnus, a member of the Air Force Reserve, and the husband of Georgia J. Story Hardy.

David L. Hardy was born in September 1947. He played on his high school baseball team in San Bernadino, California, and was eventually recruited to play for Brigham Young University's baseball team. He delayed his acceptance to BYU to spend the first two years of college serving in the Air Force Reserves in March Air Force Base in Riverside, California. After transferring to Hill Air Force Base in Layton, Utah, he attended BYU, from which he graduated in 1964. He met and married his wife Georgia J. Story in Alameda City, California on Jan. 25, 1969. Together, they had 6 children and established themselves in the Provo, Utah region. David served as the Young Men's president of his Provo ward in June 1985.
