Biographical History

Jerry Sidney Jolley (1949- ) is the husband of Joice Finlay and was a former member of the United States Coast Guard, the Utah Air National Guard, and the Provo Fire Department.

Jerry Sidney Jolley was born in Mount Pleasant, Utah on November 12, 1949. He spent the first 7 years of his life in St. George, Utah. After his parents divorced, he relocated to Springville, Utah until the age of fourteen. Then his family moved to Provo, where he graduated from high school. He returned to St. George, where he attended the College of Southern Utah (Southern Utah University) and Dixie State University, where he met his wife Joice Finlay. After they married, Jolley enlisted in the US Coast Guard in 1970. After completing his service, the couple moved to Cleveland Ohio for a few years before moving to California where he worked as a manager for Carl's Jr. They eventually returned to Provo, where Jolley served in the Provo Fire Department until 2009. While in the Fire Department, he also served as a member of the Utah Air National Guard, and served in Kuwait during Desert Storm.
