Biographical History

Albert Galliton Earl (1846-1909) was a stagecoach driver and farmer in Utah.

Albert Galliton Earl was born on October 28, 1946 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Barney and Eliza Rutan Earl. He joined the Union forces of the Civil War at the age of 16. After the war he moved to Fairfield, Utah where he drove stagecoaches from Ofer to Park City. On February 15, 1876 Albert married Mary Emma Carson, they had two children; Elizabeth and Annie. In 1877 the family moved to Peicho where Earl herded sheep. On July 22, 1886 Mary Emma died. A few years later Earl worked at a grocery store in Mercur, Utah, and later moved to Park City to run a stable. In 1907 Albert moved to California for his health, but returned to Utah in 1908. Albert G. Earl died on August 4, 1909 at the home of his daughter, Elizabeth in Provo Bench, Utah.
