Biographical History

Rex Lamar James (1937-) was a research and development manager for Hewlett-Packard. He now owns a book publishing company in Cascade, Idaho.

Rex LaMar James was born on September 19, 1937 in Phoenix, Arizona. He attended Brigham Young University to achieve his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. He continued his studies of electrical engineering at Colorado State University, obtaining a master's degree. After his schooling James pursued a career at Hewlett-Packard as a group research and development manager. In 1980, he married Patricia Rosemarie. After his retirement from Hewlett-Packard, James opened an essential oils book company in Cascade, Idaho, publishing and marketing books on the benefits and use of essential oils.
