Connie James Walker was born in Phoenix, Arizona, on May 29, 1946 to Jack M. James and Kola Price. She married Robert William Walker in Alameda City, California in 1969, and they had six children together. Following a divorce, she married Michael Patrick Hastings in 1992 in Pierce County, Washington. She remained in Washington as a practical nurse.
