Biographical History

Kenneth Powell Lindsay (1923-) was a teacher in Utah. Kenneth Powell Lindsay was born on September 3, 1923. He graduated from high school in 1940 and went off to University of Utah and Utah State to finish his education. From 1943 to 1946 he served in the army and then returned to Utah State to finish his education. In his senior year, 1948, he started coaching at Grantsville High. When he was 29 years old he went on a mission to Tonga for three years. He came back for a year and a half and married Dorothy Ellis. They then moved back to Tonga where he worked as Principal of the Liahona High School for six years. They returned home in 1963. He then went back to teaching school. He taught P.E. and coached. In 1986 Dorothy died. He remarried later to Bonnie Whittaker.
