Gilbert L. Seybold (1836-1906) was a solider in the U.S. Civil War.
Gilbert L. Seybold was born on October 7, 1836 in St. Louis, Missouri to parents James and Olivia Gaskill Seybold. He married Emma Celveland on August 25, 1874 in Pike, Illinois.
During the U.S. Civil War he was a member of the 33rd Regiment, Illinois Infantry, Company A. He entered and left the war with the rank of Private. He was a strong supporter of President Lincoln.
Seybold passed away on September 16, 1906 in San Diego, California.
