Biographical History

Stephen G. Biddulph (1945-) is a retired Marine Corps officer, a Vietnam veteran, a mental health therapist and drug addiction counselor, and an author.

Stephen George Biddulph was born November 21, 1945, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Lowell and Ruth Biddulph. He spent his first eighteen summers in Yellowstone Park and has been a life-long student of Yellowstone just like his father. After serving a mission for the LDS church in Berlin, Germany from 1964-1967, Biddulph married his high school sweetheart, Elaine Robinson, on June 28, 1968, in the Idaho Falls temple. They later had six children: Blake, Jeffrey, Melanie, Gregory, Kenneth, and Ryan. After graduating from Brigham Young University with a bachelor's degree in Social Anthropology in 1971, Biddulph was commissioned an Officer of Marines, after which he continued to serve his country as a marine until 1990. He then worked as a mental health therapist and later as Dean of Students at Southern Virginia University. After serving a mission as a mental health counselor at BYU-Hawaii from 2007-2009, Biddulph published "Five Old Men of Yellowstone," a historical novel detailing the National Park ranger careers of his father, Lowell, and four others.

Biddulph and his wife currently reside in Provo, Utah.
