Biographical History

Ernest Bamberger (1877-1958) was a politician and mining executive in Utah.

Ernest Bamberger was born on August 11, 1877, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Jacob Emanuel Bamberger and Bertha G. Bamberger. He married Eleanor F. Dooly on November 11, 1903 in Salt Lake City, Utah, and they had two children. From 1920 to 1924 he was a member of the Republican National Committee from Utah, and he ran for the United States Senate in 1922 and 1928. He also served as a mining executive. Ernest Bamberger died on January 11, 1958, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
