Biographical History

Clayton S. Huber (1938- ) is a food scientist and was the dean of Brigham Young University's College of Biology and Agriculture.

Clayton S. Huber was born in 1938 to parents Leroy and Vera J Huber. He received bachelor's and master's degrees from Utah State University, then a PhD in food science from Purdue University. From 1968 to 1975, he worked for Technology Inc., an important contractor in food development for NASA. He served as the chair of Brigham Young University's Department of Food Science and Nutrition from 1978 to 1983, then as the dean of the College of Biology and Agriculture from 1988 to 1998. In 1997, he was called as an area authority Seventy for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in this position until he was released in 2002.
