Biographical History

Sharon R. Chambers (born 1943) is a collector of family history.

Sharon R. Chambers was born Sharon Rey Fuhriman on September 30, 1943, in Ogden, Utah, to parents Rulon Leroy and Verda Marie Peterson Fuhriman. She graduated from Weber State College cum laude with a composit major in Speech and Theatre Arts, with a minor in Art with a Secondary Education credential. She taught for two years at Sand Ridge Junior High School in Roy, Utah.

On November 25, 1970, she married Jack Lloyd Chambers, and moved to Fresno, California. They have four children.

She worked at the Iternal Revenue Service in California until retirement. She now serves as the Director of the Fresno Stake Family History Center, where she enjoys collecting and gathering family history. She currently lives in Fresno, California.
