Biographical History
Zoltán Kodály (1882-1967) was a Hungarian composer, ethnomusicologist, educator and creator of the Kodály method.
Kodály was born and raised in Hungary. He wrote his dissertation on Hungarian folk songs and composed many works based off folk songs. He is well known for his many compositions and his method that is a cirriculum for school children to learn to sight sing and he composed many works for children and amateurs.
