Biographical History
Benjamin Spencer Woodward (1889-1935) was a mining manager for the Nevada mining disctricts.
Benjamin Spencer Woodward was born on June 13, 1899 in Glendale, Montana to Benjamin Franklin Woodward and Carolina Elmina Hales. Woodward worked in the Tintic mining district in Utah alongside his father. He later became the manager of the Spruce Mountain and Black Forest mining properties at Spruce Mountain, Nevada. Woodward also participated in the Koyle Relief Mine activites with his father and his father's friend, John H. Koyle.
Woodward married Annie Lewis Woodward on June 31, 1910. They had six children: Herbert Woodward, Max Woodward, Mary Woodward, Leora Woodward, Jane Woodward, and Reta Woodward. Benjamin Spencer Woodward died on June 25, 1935.
