Biographical History

Ethan F. Wickman (1973- ) is a noteworthy American composer.

Ethan F. Wickman, also referred to as Ethan Wickman, was born in 1973. He received degrees from Brigham Young University (BM), Boston University (Mus.M), and now has his DMA in Composition from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music, where he studied under Joel Hoffman, Ricardo Zohn-Muldoon, and Michael Fiday. His music has been performed, world-wide, by orchestras, symphonies, quartets, trios, and soloists. His work has received numerous awards, such as the 2011 Chamber Music Commission at the Utah Arts Festival and the International Tuba Euphonium Association Harvey Phillips Award. Ethan Wickman was a professor of music at Indiana University- South Bend and has also taught music theory and applied compositions at the University of Washington-Eau Claire. He served a five-year term on the board of advisors for the Barlow Endowment for Music Composition at Brigham Young University. He currently is an Assistant Professor of Music Composition and Theory at the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Scope and Contents The collection contains scores written by Ethan Wickman. A group of the scores were published by Potenza Music, while the other half is published by Colla Voce Music Incorporated. The collection contains one full orchestra score with separate parts and several pieces of four part accapella.
