A businessman and violin player, Fell owned the Fell Iron & Metal company and was married to professional violinist Rose Fell. The couple had three children, Roberta Fell, Arthur Fell, and Eleanor Fell. In 2002 the Rose and Irving Fell Violin Scholarship was created in the couple's honor at the Jacobs School of Music.”)

This series contains music related material from members of Eleanor's family. Irving Fell was her father, and Arthur (Art) Fell was her brother. Materials include a manuscript photocopy of a song Irving wrote, a CD of Dixie Doctors: Music Heals and sheet music sent from Art to Eleanor. Art Fell is the pianist on the CD.
