Scope and Contents Lyndon W. Cook, a student of LDS Church history and an instructor in history at UVSC, worked for several years gathering materials for what he anticipated would be a complete edition of the papers of Thomas L. Kane (1822-1883). Cook abandoned the project in 1985 and gave his research collection to the BYU Library.
