Biographical History
Jan E. Wynn (born 1937) was a professor of mathematics in Utah.
Jan E. Wynn was born in Rexburg, Idaho on February 13, 1937. He is married to Sherleen Newton Wynn. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Idaho, and his master's degree from Utah State University. Wynn joined the Department of Mathematics faculty at Brigham Young University in 1966, serving as associate department chair from 1967 to 1969. He was also a Math Club advisor from 1981 to 1996. Wynn retired from the university in 2000.
