Biographical History

Elna Ruth Bowen Johnson (born 1919) is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Utah.

Elna Ruth Bowen was born on June 13, 1919 in Idaho. She was the third child of Daniel and Ida Bowen. She completed high school then worked as a missionary. She married Erik G. Johnson in 1941 in the Salt Lake Temple. They also served a mission to the Philippines from 1981-1983, and then at the Salt Lake Genealogical Library. They have five children.
