Biographical History

Brad Weston (born 1943) is an amateur photographer from Utah.

John Bradford Weston was born November 26, 1943 to John N. and Wilma Nelson. He was raised in Milford, Utah. He attended Brigham Young University from 1962-1968, receiving B.S. and M.S. degrees in Zoology. He was drafted to serve in the Vietnam War from 1969-1970. Upon returning from the war, he worked in Utah for 39 years for Berlex Laboratories pharmaceutical companies whose corporate headquarters are based in Germany. He and his wife, Linda, raised four children and continue the family devotion to photography.

Scope and Contents

Materials include photographs taken by Brad Weston. There are 165 slides taken in Vietnam during his service in the Vietnam War between 1969-1970. The photographs include pictures of the local village members, other soldiers, and events they participated in. This collection also contains 3 computer disks made in 2013 with digitized versions of the slides in .tif format.
