Scope and Contents Handwritten and signed letter, dated Dec. 26, 1827, and addressed to Benjamin Urner. Clay writes about a conversation with a "Mr. Test" in the fall of 1824 in which he expressed his preference for "Mr. Adams" over Andrew Jackson.
