Biography

Jesse M. Harmon (1868-1922) was a sheriff, businessman, and political leader in early Utah.

Jesse M. Harmon was born January 19, 1868 in Toquerville, Utah, to Appleton Milo Harmon and Elmeda Stringham. He married Sarah Ellen Holman on December 27, 1892 in Holden, Utah. Jesse was the president of Utah Timber & Coal Company, chairman of the Utah County Commission, and served as sheriff of Utah for three terms. Jesse died January 14, 1922 in Provo, Utah.
