Biography

Gustavus Aldrich (1760-1822) was a soldier in the Massachusetts Line of the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War.

Gustavus Aldrich was born in 1760, in Mendon, Worcester, Massachusetts to parents Silas Aldrich and Elizabeth Browne. He went on to serve in the Massachusetts Line of the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War from 1777 to at least 1781. Aldrich married Hope Smith on August 3, 1781 in Mendon, Massachusetts. He later married Susan DeWitt on December 29, 1812 in Mendon, Massachusetts. Aldrich passed away on August 3, 1822 in Mendon, Massachusetts.
