Scope and Contents

Handwritten and signed letter, dated 22 Oct. 1894, and addressed to Barton O. Aylesworth of Ft. Collins, Colorado. Bishop responds to Aylesworth's request for biographical information and refers him to "Appleton's Biographical Dictionary." Also included are the envelope in which the letter was sent and a brief biography of Bishop clipped from a magazine or newspaper.
