Printed, handwritten, and signed invitation, dated 1898, and adressed to John Brisben Walker, an American editor. Allen requests that Walker and his wife attend a meeting of "our club," an unnamed organization, for "The Twelfth Night" (Epiphany) on 6 Jan. 1898 at the "Berkley Lyceum."

Typewritten and signed letter, dated 28 Oct. 1896, and addressed to John Brisben Walker. Brisbane states, "I replied by telegram to your letter of to-day. I shall be very glad to have the article which you are good enough to suggest. I hope we can get the matter not later than Thursday, so it may be put in type and carefully corrected before publication."

Andrews writes about the possibility of getting his speech, "Europe's Greater Public Questions," published. "Mr. Walker" is probably John Brisben Walker (1847-1931), an American editor.
