Orson K. Whitney (1830-1884) was a carpenter in Utah.
Orson Kimball Whitney was born on January 20, 1830 in Kirtland, Ohio to Newel Kimball Whitney and Elizabeth Ann Smith. A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Whitney emigrated to Utah in 1847 where he worked as a carpenter. On April 16, 1854 he was married to Joanna Hickey Robertson (1825-1884) in Salt Lake City. He died on July 31, 1884 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
