Biography

Martha Watt (1846-1925) was a 19th century resident of Manti, Utah.

Martha Ann Bench Watt Kilfoyle was born on August 27, 1846, in Southampton, England, to William Bench Sr., and Ann Longman. Her family immigrated to Utah in 1852. Martha married George Darling Watt on November 9, 1867, in Salt Lake City, Utah. They lived in Manti, Utah, and had six children. George practiced polygamy, and Martha was George's sixth wife. After George passed away in 1881, Martha married Frank Kilfoyle. Martha died March 26, 1925, in Portland, Oregon.
