Biographical History
Heber L. Magleby (1874-1941) was businessman, rancher, and farmer in Utah.
Heber Lorenzo Magleby was born on July 7, 1874 in Milton, Utah to Hans Olsen Magleby and Eliza Marthine Svendsdatter. He attended Brigham Young University beginning in 1899, and was called to participate in the South American Expedition. After his return in 1902 he married Effie Maria Sorenson in the Saint George Temple; they eventually had eight children. Magleby worked as a furniture store owner, superintendent of the Utah-Mexican Rubber Company, and as a rancher and farmer in Monroe, Utah. He passed away on January 15, 1941 in Monroe.
