Biographical History

Lowell J. Boberg (1910-1991) was an educator and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who lived in Utah.

Lowell John Boberg was born on March 28, 1910 in Draper, Utah to John H. Boberg and Elnora Mattie Day Stringfellow. He was raised a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and attended Brigham Young University, graduating in 1932.

Boberg spent his career as an English teacher in Utah. During these years he was active in professional associations and served on local and national committees. In the late 1960s he returned to Brigham Young University to pursue a master's degree, which he completed in 1970. After his retirement from teaching in 1975 he began work as the postmaster in Draper, Utah. He retired in 1979.

Lowell J. Boberg passed away on March 28, 1991 in La Habra, California.
