Contains periodicals collected by L. DeWayne Young. The substantial content reflects folk dance and culture all over the world. Scope and Contents

Young was one of Brigham Young University’s Folk Dancers. These materials reflect his time as a dancer, and also the director of the BYU Women’s Dance Group. There are programs, newspapers clippings, 1959 Montana tour itineraries, posters, and a typed history of the BYU Women’s Dance Group. Young appears in programs as both a student and alumni. The posters feature Young, and advertise the 1968 European Folk Festivals Tour. Dates range 1959-1979.
