Biographical History

Harvard S. Heath (born 1945) is an historian and manuscripts librarian in Utah.

Harvard Swensen Heath was born March 4, 1945. He studied history as an undergraduate at Brigham Young University, graduating in 1974. Around this period he married Susan Graeber. He then worked as a research and writing assistant to Ernest L. Wilkinson in the preparation of his history of Brigham Young University. In 1984 Heath joined the faculty of the Harold B. Lee Library, working as the curator of Utah and American West Archives. In 1990 he completed his Ph.D. in American History from Brigham Young University. He has also published, presented, and edited volumes on Mormon history topics. Heath retired from the university in 2001.
