Photocopy of a microfilmed copy of a typescript of an interview. Cannady was interviewed by Travis Jordan in 1937 as part of the Federal Writer's Project for the Works Progress Administration. The item includes handwritten corrections. Cannady tells about how her master, despite his wife's pleading, shot and killed a slave for making a negative comment about the Confederate Army.
