Biographical History

Thomas Peek (1839-1911) was an immigrant to, and farmer in, South Weber, Davis, Utah.

Thomas Henry Peek was born on July 19, 1839 to Thomas Peek and Mary Malden in Fordham, Cambridgeshire, England. In 1855, Thomas immigrated to South Weber, Davis, Utah in the United States and a year later married Saloma Leeana Hammon whose father was one of the settlers of South Weber. They were divorced shortly after. On January 1, 1864, Thomas Henry Peek married another English immigrant, also living in South Weber, by the name of Mary Bright. Together, with their several children, the Peeks ran their farm and contributed to the building up of their community.

Thomas Henry Peek, who was proceeded in death by his wife, died on April 7, 1911 in South Weber, Davis, Utah.
