Biography
Martha Hoggard Chipman (1869-1948) was a 19th century resident of Utah.
Martha Hoggard was born on March 29, 1869, in American Fork, Utah, to James Hoggard and Emily Blacknell. Martha married Otto Lyman Chipman on December 10, 1890, in Logan, Utah at the age of 21. They had one daughter, Lydia Fern Chipman in 1892. Otto left to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in New Zealand shortly after Lydia's birth but he died of pneumonia there. Martha died on October 5, 1948, in Herriman, Utah at the age of 79.

Photocopy of a microfilmed copy of a typewritten biography. Martha Hoggard Chipman was born in American Fork, Utah, in 1869 and married Otto Lyman Chipman in 1890. He died in 1892 while serving on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in New Zealand. She died in 1948.
